Expression of interest to join WRFC – Estates and Facilities (E&F) Sub Group

The Management Committee are inviting members to submit an EOI to be part of the Estates and Facilities Sub Group.

We are looking to identify club members who have experience in any of the following areas and keen to support the progression of the clubs significant Estate and Facilities.

Experience in E&F management – legal obligations of a business

Experience in E&F management – operational/practical

Experience in Health and Safety Regulations

Experience in the selection and validation of contractors

Project Management

Terms of Reference E&F Sub Group

An E&F Sub-Group is required to ensure:

  • The E&F section of the Strategic Plan is delivered on
  • All matters relating to E&F have ownership through a single channel, removing duplication of effort
  • Develop and maintain a plan of works/repair/replacement – Short, Medium and long term
  • Develop and maintain a H&S plan, audit and review process
  • The club is compliant with all legal requirements in relation to E&F and H&S
  • Understand the needs of the club on a daily/weekly basis for paid staff and develop a work schedule for them- with clear ownership
  • Ensure there is sufficient paid staff for above requirements
  • Requirements for future works are documented based on priority
  • Requirements for future works are linked to a Financial plan
  • Validate skill sets/qualification of contractors to ensure quality of product/service
  • Requirements of future works are considered in line with the evaluations of the futures Committee
  • The Supporters and Volunteers supporting H&S or working party days are sufficient in number, tasked appropriately, looked after on the day and valued for their contribution so they come again!

Responsibilities of role:

  • Able to attend meetings as required
  • Participate in review/assessment/evaluation/action of works linked to E&S or H&S
  • Communication to the members
