Raiders on the road to Kent

This weekend the Raiders travel to Kent based Canterbury who have won 6 and lost 3 so far during the 2017-18 campaign. The coaching staff have made a few changes to the squad including Elliott Luke to the starting line up after a long lay off through injury and a run out off the bench last weekend at home. Elliott Worrall also gets a call up to the second row following a string of fantastic games for the As, who are still unbeaten in their league! The back line remains the same except for Kieran Leeming partnering up with Kiba Richards in the centre. We have a lot of impact players on the bench this weekend which always helps, especially on the road to somewhere like Canterbury.

Worthing President Bob Reynolds says this every week, “Keep supporting, believe in our youngsters as we look to build our team over the next three seasons and look to be a top 4 team once again”. With this we wish all of our travelling supporters a safe journey and a great weekend. Enjoy the game and be loud!

The Raiders A have no fixture this weekend but the Azurians are away to Plumpton whilst the Knights host Littlehampton at Roundstone Lane. Good luck to all of our teams playing this weekend and fingers crossed for three big wins!
