Worthing Raiders travel to Bristol

The Raiders along with the rest of the National 2 sides had a well-deserved break last week and gave them time to do their Christmas shopping before the manic 5 weeks leading up to the 23rd December against Wimbledon at Roundstone Lane. This weekend the players travel to Bristol to face Clifton RFC and will be hoping to build on the back of their fantastic 42-12 win over Broadstreet two weeks ago.

The pack remains the same with Ajayi, Luke and Litterick forming the Raiders front row with Lake and Spurgeon in the boiler room. The impressive back row force of Price, Dawe and Perkins will be looking to disrupt the home sides game and get the Raiders back line on the front foot. Walsh and Mclean continue their half back combination with Richards and Forrest outside them. Boyland, Hampson and Maslen line up on the wings and at fullback with Mcilwaine and Leeming unavailable. Grief, Head, Whittall and Miller will look to make a strong impact off of the bench help secure full points available. Michael Dingle also gets a call up to the squad and will be hoping to make his Raiders debut after a number of fantastic games for the Raiders A.

If you’re travelling up to Clifton we wish you a safe journey and hope you enjoy the game. Good luck!!
