Worthing RFC announcement ;
At the beginning of January, in the build up to the Club’s Centenary season in 2020-21, we have entered into an agreement with Jeremy and Clair Ramsden of the Abbotts Group, to establish the Worthing RFC, Centenary Business Club, which will be holding its first meetings on 27th February.
Embracing existing sponsors and with the aim of securing 100 new sponsors to the Club, for our Centenary season, the Business Club connects businesses in the community directly with the membership of the Club alongside fellow Business Club members. The aim of the Centenary Business Club is to ensure its members get the best coverage and return on their investment while supporting the Club and adding value to our membership.
Whilst a full program of events for the new Centenary Business Club are being arranged, we will also be working closely with the Abbotts Group to improve the experience and better support all sponsors of Worthing RFC, as well as working with them on a number of specific events and activities, both as part of our Centenary year celebrations and beyond.
The first of these events is already booked for Friday 2nd October 2020. The Worthing RFC Centenary Black Tie Dinner – “Lions Pride – Rewriting History”, being held at the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel. Compared by New Zealand comedy actor and MC, Mike Sengelow who will facilitate a lively discussion and a Q & A with three rugby greats;
Neil Back MBE (England 2003 RWC winner, British & Irish Lions test rugby International )

John Bentley (England and British & Irish Lions test rugby International)

Having worked with the Abbotts Group previously, we are looking forward to realising the positive benefits Jeremy and Clair will bring, as they manage the delivery and implementation of their sponsorship packages and events.
