Worthing RFC U16’s ( 2019-20)

Welcome to Worthing RFC U16’s.

We are a friendly and successful age group who are always looking to welcome new players to the club, whether you are new to the game or have been playing for many years.

Our coaches have always placed an emphasis on everyone training together to help develop the entire squad. We strive to give every player as much game time as possible through the season by fielding 2 squads and ensuring that both squads get an equal amount of matches.

We currently have 11 County players, 3 Harlequins Quins Elite and 6 Harlequins DPP players in our squad. The majority of these players have been with the squad since they started playing rugby at the age of 5.

Last season (U15’s) our A squad won both Sussex League 1 and the Sussex Trophy, winning all 7 of their league matches and beating Hove 32-10 in the Sussex Trophy Final.  In addition our B squad were promoted to Sussex League 2.

In addition to the A and B squads league fixtures this coming season we will be looking to arrange friendly matches against competitive opposition outside of Sussex to further develop the players.

If your son would like to join a friendly and successful squad and develop as a player please contact: Nick (nnmay@hotmail.com), Chris (brownh3@sky.com) or Fred (fred.jefferiss@ntlworld.com)

If you are a club who would like to arrange a friendly match (A or B) please use the same contact details as above.
