Also thank you for the positive response following my few words at the recent AGM, which has brought about a most welcome flush of new interest in joining (and helping promote) the 500 Club – thank you to all – more news on this and other developments in due course.
All this interest converted into subscriptions in the 500 Club will be desperately needed to help the club, as the laundry is hanging on by a thread – the washing machine is on its last legs and the tumble dryer is about to join it. Not your average domestic devices by any means, but commercial grade equipment – The 500 Club will hope to provide the majority of the funds to replace & install these at a cost possibly well in excess of £7,000 – and we do all prefer to at least start the game in clean, dry shirts !!
But back to our winners for Q2 ’23 – many congratulations them all (Chris is a very lucky name this quarter !!) and grateful thanks to all subscribers for their solid support.
