Worthing Raiders are the 1st XV of Worthing Rugby Club

Worthing Raiders is the 1st XV of Worthing Rugby Club playing in National Division Two South.The Raiders were runners-up to Henley Hawks in the National League 2 South 2012–13 season and qualified for a play-off against the runners-up of National League 2 North, Stourbridge winning 28 – 26. In doing so, the club became the first club from Sussex to play in the third tier of English rugby.

In the 2021-2022 Season, Post Covid the 1st XV placed 4th in the National 2 League with 110 points, of which 27 were bonus points (the highest in the league) and were in contention for promotion throughout the season. Our 2nd XV additionally went on and won the Surrey Premiership providing a fully inclusive mens playing environment from 1st XV through Senior Men.
