One tradition we intend on keeping in 2020 is our Boxing Day game!
Worthing RFC v The Academicals
This event will take place outside, with the clubhouse being open for toilet access only (please wear masks in doors).
Arrive from 11am, sign in on arrival using the NHS Covid-19 track and trace app and buy your game day ticket at the same time for £1 per person. You will then be issued with a wrist band which must be worn.
As this is a sporting event by issuing a ticket/charging an entry fee then alcohol can be purchased without the need to also have a “substantial meal” The ticket system means we also know the number of spectators at the event.
The outside bar will be open, payment by card only. You will be able to queue at the bar for your drinks at a safe distance and will only be served if you are wearing your wrist band.
Please do not congregate in groups larger than 6 and do not cross over groups. You must be seated to consume your drinks.
All the above is in line with current Government restrictions.
Kick off for the game will be 12 noon.
If you would like to join the teams and play in the game then please email us asap wrfc@worthingrfc.com or call us 01903 784706.
The weather is looking fine for the day so wrap up warm, grab your friends and family and come and spend time in the open air watching what has now become a firm tradition in the Worthing RFC calendar.
Look forward to seeing you all
