William Paine started the Broadwater Village Blacksmiths in 1725. In 1874 Frank Manwaring joined the business and the company expanded into the maintenance of steam traction engines used to provide both hot water and steam for horticultural glasshouses and soil sterilisation.
The Company has continued to expand over the years, constantly adding to its portfolio of services and products and keeping pace with technical advances and industry developments. In 2012 we completed the acquisition of Willard Electrical with its similar history, complimentary business and reputation.
Eight years on, we now have one M&E business employing 102 staff, offering a complete, professional and safe operation of service for all heating, plumbing and electrical installation and maintenance projects.
