Back on home turf after a trip to South London to play Barnes the previous week, hopes were high that this could be the first win of the season for Raiders.
Still without a win after the first four games, Raiders travelled to London to play Barnes, confident that their first victory could be about to happen against the side in third place in the league.
Round four of this season’s competition saw high flying Tonbridge Juddians as the visitors to Roundstone Lane.
Round 3 of the new season and Raiders were in Kent to play Canterbury. Always a difficult fixture made more so this season as Raiders were yet to pick up their first win.
After a close game away in Guernsey, Raiders returned to Roundstone Lane for their first home match of the season against local rivals, Havant.
The new season is upon us and Raiders started their programme with a 7am meet at Gatwick for an away fixture in Guernsey.
A typical end of season game with lots of excellent, expansive rugby from both teams in which the visitors showed both spirit and skill.
The bonus point should see Raiders safe from relegation, however they really need to win the final game of the season at home to be certain.
